John Coghill, Brand
& Marketing
John bumped into Growmybiz just two days after returning
to NZ having spent 15 years working in Africa and the UK.
John brings with him more than 17 years experience in marketing,
branding and advertising running his own business and working
with world-renowned brands.
John’s first ten years in the UK were with The Economist
where he won accolades for major award-winning campaigns
and for launching economist.com. His final role prior to
starting his own business was as Brand Development Director
responsible for identifying and researching new business
opportunities carrying The Economist brand and managing
product development teams. Successful launches included
Economist TV and Intelligent Life – a bi-monthly lifestyle
publication.
More recently John has brought his innovative streak to
Air New Zealand’s ‘Grab a Seat’ offerings
and in growing an online community around that new brand
sending a buzz right across the country.
“Since returning to New Zealand what has struck
me is the genuine passion and commitment among Kiwi small
business owners. What makes Growmybiz so rewarding to work
with is its own enthusiasm and approach to helping those
small businesses grow. Through understanding what makes
small businesses tick and the unique challenges they face,
Growmybiz has developed a practical toolkit that delivers
on its promise of sustainable and measurable business growth.”
